Hasir Island Pond is a seasonal brackish water pond, located on Çiçek Island, 1,6 km north-east of Cunda Island Centre. Although there are no settlements in the island, it is almost connected to Cunda Island with a seasonal sandbank, which makes the island frequently exposed to human contact. Villagers from Cunda Island leave their livestock, especially goats on the island for grazing. Goat carcasses were observed during the field survey around the wetland. Solid waste pollution was also observed in the catchment area during the field survey.
